Nokia is back with a new handset, but for now, it’s exclusive to the Chinese market.

The Nokia 6 which is being manufactured by HMD Global, features relatively decent specs, comparable to some of the mid to high end brands in the United States.

Like other Chinese manufacturers, Nokia opted to have a flash sale rather than keeping their store front open for pre-orders (should stock run out).

According to Chinese news agency Anzhuo, the sale started at 10:06am local time on Jingdong Mall (a Chinese online electronics store), with all handsets being sold out just a mere minute after going live.

The source mentions the fact that at least 1 million people registered for the purchase of the device, but there is no data indicating how many actual handsets were sold.

The Nokia 6, which is exclusive to the Chinese market, features a 5.5 inch 1080 x 1920 pixel IPS LCD screen, an Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage (expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card), along with a 16MB primary and 8MP front facing camera.
