Now that the Apple iPhone 7 event is out of the way, it’s Alphabet’s turn to show off a new smartphone product.

A few moments ago, teaser video was uploaded to Google’s official YouTube channel, showing an outline of a new smartphone that will be launched on October 4th at 9AM west coast time.

There is also a website where users can sign up for email notifications about the launch, but like with any launch, the news will be all over the web long before those emails get sent out.

Google is expected to launch its Pixel and Pixel XL phones, along with a few other gadgets and gizmos from the Alphabet team.

The rumoured Pixel brand is expected to replace the ever popular Nexus line. The Pixel is expected to be 5 inches in diagonal length, with a 1080p display and a 2770mAh battery, while the Pixel XL is expected to rock a 5.5 inch screen and a 3450mAh battery. Both devices will run Android Nougat 7, and are expected to be manufactured by HTC.

Here are leaked photos of the alleged devices, submitted to Android Police earlier today.
