Pokémon GO now live in Trinidad and Tobago

Just a few weeks ago, Barbados and Jamaica got access to Pokémon GO, leaving many Trinidadians wondering when they’d be next in line to get access.

A special few were able to play the game with a combination of GPS spoofers and VPN servers, but that’s no longer needed as the game is officially available in Trinidad and Tobago.

Yes, yes, yes, I did promise not to post about this game again, but it’s my home country, so why not add just one more!

Twitter users are already quite ecstatic about its release, proudly posting their newly acquired Pokémon.

While many users are catching the ‘basic’ (not really basic) Pokémon like Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur, here’s a quick guide I found (just a bit too late) to get a Pikachu instead.

Most of the initial reactions seem to be pretty much the same like in other countries where people are getting lots of Pidgeys and Rattatas, but let’s see if anyone finds rarer species.
