Church plans to use drones to drop bibles over ISIS controlled territories

A Swedish church plans to pass on the word of God to ISIS followers by dropping thousands of electronic bibles from a drone.

The Livets Ord church (which translates into Word of Life) is taking a different strategy when it comes to the war on terror by delivering the word of God via pill box sized electronic bibles. The church said that these units do not operate on batteries, but will be functional regardless.

They are planning to use high-altitude drones to make the drops, hoping to deliver thousands to ISIS fighters in Daesh-controlled areas in Syria and Iraq.

Director Christian Ă…kerhielm stated that the intent of the mission is not to convert ISIS militants to Christianity, but rather to simply to “pass on the hope and love of the Christian gospel to a population living in closed areas where they are being denied human rights.”

The ‘drop’ was demonstrated at one of their recent church services in Uppsala, Sweden, as pictured in the below photo.

The church’s members will be far away from the real action though as they are hiring a third party to take care of the actual deliveries.

Let’s see what members of ISIS think of this once the ‘care’ packages hit the ground.
