Here’s what your favorite sites looked like when they were launched

The internet has come such a long way in terms of functionality and design, that sometimes we take for it for granted the humble beginnings of most of these websites.

We can Google pretty much anything these days, such as the correct tire size for a 1999 BMW series or the software needed to convert a Word document to PDF. Back when Google originally came out, their search algorithm was no where as good and searching for a brown dog might have resulted in a photo of a goat.

With that said, let’s get right into it showcasing some of the original home pages of the bigger brands back then, and what they look like now.
